Who is Pressotherapy for?

Clients who rely on lymphatic drainage to detoxify their body. Clients sēking body contouring. Clients suffering from lymphedema of the lower extremities, post-surgical or congenital conditions. Pre, intra and post phases of surgery benefit greatly from the complement of Pressotherapy. Clients having discomfort, fatigue or fluid retention.

What is Pressotherapy?

A computer-controlled pump inflates the individual sections of the multi- chambered garments, which are positioned around the limbs. The pump inflates each chamber of the garment individually. Once a chamber has been inflated, its pneumatic circuit closes. This enables the pump to maintain the preset level and avoid the balancing of pressure with the other chambers. When one chamber is inflated, this causes an increase in pressure of the previously inflated chamber, creating an Automatic Double Pressure Gradient.

When will I see results from my Pressotherapy session?

You will see immediate benefits after each session. For best results, it is recommended that clients receive a series of treatments, ranging from 8-15 treatments, depending on specific individual needs. Weekly treatments are recommended to achieve individual results.

Pressotherapy Slimming System

sēk Sauna Studio uses the Zemits Sisley Body Contouring System.  It is a professional Pressotherapy Machine for carrying out lymphatic drainage and dynamic air compression treatment protocols. This ultimate pressotherapy device has an advanced compression suit with 24 air channels. The system has adjustable settings and 4 levels of Compression Power for effective and tailored protocols to address all areas of the body, namely: legs, buttocks, waist, and arms. Zemits Sisley provides safe and effective lymphatic drainage, thus bringing a positive effect on the skin's relief and texture. The course of pressotherapy normalizes healthy blood and lymphatic flow, that helps to restore skin elasticity and firmness. Systematic use helps to reduce stagnant intercellular edema in the lymph and reduces cellulite also known as "orange peel.”

Pressotherapy FAQs

What is Pressotherapy and what are the benefits?

Down arrow

Pressotherapy is a non-invasive therapeutic method that uses the application of air pressure, alternating between compression and decompression. Pressotherapy stimulates lymphatic drainage, improves blood circulation, reduces the appearance of cellulite, and alleviates muscle soreness.

Is it a person that performs Pressotherapy?

Down arrow

Pressotherapy is done with an air compression suit (pneumatic massage) that covers your arms, torso, legs, and feet. A computer controlled machine sends air pressure into each of the suit's chambers beginning at your feet and ending with your arms.

Does it hurt? What if I don’t like the amount of compression?

Down arrow

It does not hurt at all! In fact, it is extremely soothing and relaxing. Just like our saunas, the Pressotherapy is completely customizable. You can do a session that is light and gentle with low compression or we can turn it up to feel it deeper in your tissue. It’s your choice!

How long is a session?

Down arrow

A standard Pressotherapy session is 30 minutes long. An additional 15-30 minutes can be purchased if you would like to enjoy up to an hour of Pressotherapy.

What do I wear?

Down arrow

While you are in your own private room, you need to wear socks, pants and a long-sleeved shirt. This is for hygiene purposes as you will be inside a pneumatic suit.

How often should I use Pressotherapy?

Down arrow

That depends on your needs!

For an ultimate detox, you can pair your sauna session with a Pressotherapy session immediately beforehand.  The two combined exponentially increase the benefits and results you see and feel.

For cellulite treatment, you will likely see improvement after one session but you’ll see amazing results after 3 sessions.

For muscle soreness relief, come in when you feel the need and get fast-tracked on the road to recovery.
